Although car people love to spend time and money on their cars, they all too often forget to properly value their car for insurance purposes. Dollar after dollar goes in, but never gets properly documented so that if a catastrophic event strikes, the real cost of putting the car back together gets paid by the insurance company. As collector car owners ourselves, we understand the importance of our product first hand. Fill out the form on the right to get started on your on-site Bartlett car appraisal.
Facts about Bartlett
Located in Williamson and Bell counties, Bartlett is a small city with just over 1,600 residents. Formerly considered a boom town early on, the city is sometimes referred to as being one step away from a ghost town. This is due to the low population and the fact that it has not shown signs of growth in some time.
Being between two counties, Bartlett is also considered part of two different metropolitan areas. The part of Bartlett found in Bell County is associated with the Killeen–Temple–Fort Hood Metropolitan Statistical Area. The remaining portion is included in the Austin–Round Rock Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Settlement of the area began in the 19th century, and continued at a steady pace well into the 20th century. For a time, the city served as the headquarters for the Bartlett-Florence Railway, which was later known as the Bartlett Western Railroad. That line was discontinued in 1935, and was never replaced.
